Morning Stretches: Stay Flexible And Energetic

4 Super easy morning stretches:

1- Morning shoulder stretch:

  • Join your fingers together
  • Raise both hands upward above your head
  • Stretch your rib cage by lifting up
  • Hold for 15 seconds and repeat

2- Standing quad stretch

  • Stand up and grab something stable
  • Bend one knee and reach for your ankle with one hand.
  • Keep your leg stretched for 15 seconds and repeat 3 times.

3- Overhead triceps stretch:

  • Extend your right arm above your head, then bend your elbow and place your right hand between your shoulder blades.
  • With your left hand, gently pull your right elbow to the left till you sense a stretch.
  • Hold for 15 to 30 seconds before switching arms and repeat.

4- Child pose

  • Kneel on the floor with your toes together and your knees hip-width apart
  • Lower your torso between your knees as you exhale
  • Extend your arms along your torso, palms facing down
  • Hold the posture for as long as needed.
